curl supports many different protocols.
From the project homepage you can choose to download a version with or without SSL/SSH. The version with is much bigger. The links here point to the version without.
curl depends on zlib and liibidn.

About: ed is the venerable line-oriented text editor that was one of the earliest end-user applications on Unix.
Although wars have been fought over far fancier editors, ed still offers a lot of power in a tiny package. Great for quick-and-dirty edits when you don't want to wait for vi to load.

Countdown Timer v2.1

About: Countdown Timer counts down a specified time and sounds an alarm. The main application is for sports timing but it can be useful for other events.
The countdown can be repeated multiple times. A rest time can be set between alarms. Each alarm can be saved in a configuration.
WAV files are used for the alarm sound and can be specified.
This is a simple timer, it will not wake up your Zaurus if it goes to sleep.
